J. R. Maxon is an award-winning author who lives and writes in his childhood home on an island on the Suncoast of Florida. J. R. has several degrees in Geology and his love of science has taken him back in time and into the depths of the Earth. He is a Certified Petroleum Geologist and his other interests include writing, personal training, spirituality, motivational speaking, global warming, and astronomy.

J. R.’s novel, “ReBecoming: The Way of Opportunity” addresses the answers to the questions that elude us all: life, love, and happiness. It gives us the courage to transcend our destiny.
